How Fabrix Noltav Began
Fabrix Noltav was founded in 2021 by a group of educators, technologists, and advocates who shared a common concern: that older adults in Japan were being left behind as education moved online. The courses available were often too fast-paced, too technically demanding, or simply not designed with mature learners in mind.
Our founders believed that adults aged 55 and over deserve educational content that respects their experience, accommodates their learning preferences, and genuinely enriches their lives โ not generic courses recycled from younger audiences.
Starting with just eight courses and a small team, Fabrix Noltav has grown into a trusted learning community with over 2,400 enrolled students across Japan. We remain independent, mission-driven, and deeply committed to our students.

Emi spent 20 years as an adult education specialist before founding Fabrix Noltav. Her vision of age-inclusive learning is the heart of everything we do.
